E. coli in the Delaware River and Tributaries in Philadelphia and Camden

This graphic provides a detailed overview of E. coli levels in the Delaware River and its tributaries within Philadelphia and Camden. The map on the right side pinpoints specific sampling locations along the river and its tributaries, marked by blue lines. Each marker on the map corresponds to a location where E. coli measurements have been taken.

On the left side, the bar chart displays the concentration of E. coli at these various locations. The height of each green bar represents the level of E. coli detected, with higher bars indicating higher concentrations. This visualization is crucial for understanding water quality in the urban area, highlighting potential public health risks and the need for environmental monitoring and intervention. By presenting this data visually, the graphic helps communicate the importance of maintaining clean and safe water sources in densely populated regions.
